Single-pin tri-clamps and their associated fittings, fabricated from sanitary-grade stainless steel (with the clamps themselves constructed from 304 stainless steel), are compliant with relevant standards and compatible with 0.5″ to 12″ sanitary tube fittings.
These tri-clamps are designed to facilitate the rapid joining of sanitary fittings in process piping systems across the food, beverage, and biopharmaceutical industries.
Tri-clamp connections necessitate the use of a gasket (sold separately) to achieve a leak-tight seal. They are manually tightened, with the recommended procedure being to tighten the wingnut to a snug fit, followed by an additional ½ to 1 full rotation. Over-tightening does not enhance sealing performance; instead, it may result in damage to the gasket or tubing flange.

The Sanitary single-pin Clamp with a wingnut is made from 304 stainless steel.
It is used to ferrule two separate tri-clamp ends to one another.
A tri-clamp rubber gasket should be placed between the two flange ends to ensure proper fit and secure connection.
Please do not over tighten wing-nut as this may damage the product.
The recommended amount of tension is to tighten the wing-nut until it becomes snug, then perform one more half twist for the proper.
