Sanitary tri-clamp gaskets are used in the Food, Dairy, Beverage, Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and many other Sanitary Process industries to seal clamp connections in sanitary pipe lines.
The name Tri-Clamp gasket comes from the Tri-Clover clamp which is used to hold a gasket in place.This made up of stainless steel ferrules with the gasket pressed in between. The clamp goes over the sides of the ferrules and compresses the two together The working temp max is 260℃, it meets FDA standard specification.
